Officials to break ground on new Boiling Springs High School Tuesday

BOILING SPRINGS, SC (FOX Carolina) –

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held Tuesday evening to mark the start of construction of the new Boiling Springs High School.

The 320,000 square-foot school will be built next to the existing high school. It will feature 85 classrooms, science labs, and collaborative work spaces.

The groundbreaking ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., according to Spartanburg County School District Two.

The new high school is expected to open in fall 2019.
