Spartanburg County Public Libraries said a book checked out more than two decades earlier has returned to the library.
The book, which was sent to the Central Library on South Church Street, was 21 years overdue.
Someone sent the book, Anna Stanley’s 1989 The Crowning Touch: Preparing for Beauty Pageant Competition, in with a letter of apology.
“Better late than never, right?” a spokesperson for the library said in a Facebook post. “Thanks for returning!”
