The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect is in custody after leading them on a chase with who they believe to be a kidnapping victim inside the car.

Deputies said they received a 911 call around 10 p.m. Saturday from a driver near the intersection of Hudson and Pelham roads who said they saw a man in a black Mazda Protege hitting a female passenger.

Tucker was taken into custody, and faces a charge of third-degree domestic violence from the sheriff’s office.

He also faces charges of failing to stop for police, driving with unlawful alcoholic concentration, resisting arrest, and kidnapping.
