Tony Moore

TONY MOORE

I was born in Florence in 1974. From an early age my Father had me working alongside him during the summers with his construction company. It was there that I learned to appreciate a dollar and learned the trait that I love today. That is building new homes and developments which in turn creates jobs and contributes to economic growth.
I graduated from Wilson High School in 1992 and stayed home and went to Francis Marion University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Business in 1996.
In 1997 I married my lovely wife Teresa. We have three children Cassie, Candice and Austin.

After I graduated from Francis Marion I stayed on working with my father. It was in 2002 that I decided to get my state contractors license and open my own construction company Moore Builders Inc.  Shortly after I started the business I joined the Home Builders Association of the Greater Pee Dee. I was soon elected to the board and I am a past president of the chapter.

I currently sit as Chairman on the Florence County Board Of Zoning Appeals which will allow me a unique insight into zoning issues if elected to County Council.
I am currently developing several neighborhoods in Florence alongside my father.

I am thankful I am in a position where I decided to stay in Florence, build a business that in turn has created countless jobs and added to the economic growth here in Florence County.

If elected I will continue to take care of my Hometown and all of it's citizens to ensure that by working together we can make Florence County a shining example across the State that Florence is the best place to live, work, do business, raise a family, attend school and live the American Dream.
